John Magruder graduated Penn State University in 1986 with a BS in Forest Science. After working for the VA Dept. of Forestry as Area Forester in Essex County for nearly 12 years, he started Three Rivers Forestry in 1998. He is a lifetime member of the ACF, SAF, VFA, and Longleaf Alliance. In his spare time, John has been an active scout leader with Boy Scout Troop 304 in Tappahannock for over 30 years.
Daniel Wilson graduated Virginia Tech in 2012 with a BS in Forestry. After a summer internship in 2011 with Three Rivers Forestry, Dan officially joined the team after graduation in 2012 as a consultant. He is a member of the ACF, SAF, and VFA. In his spare time, Dan enjoys being outdoors, hiking, camping, and spending time with his dogs.
William "Billy" Healy is a life-long resident of Essex county and graduated Dabney Lancaster Community College in 1991 with an AAS degree in Forestry. He joined Three Rivers Forestry in 1998 as a Forestry Technician. In his spare time, Billy enjoys hunting, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors.
John Paul Ewan graduated Dabney S. Lancaster Community College in 2014 with an AAS in Forest Management Technology, and the University of Montana in 2017 with a BS in Forest Resource Management. John Paul took part in summer internships in urban forestry, forestry technician and wildland firefighter at Joint Base Lewis McCord and research wild fire technician in the Bob Marshall Wilderness. He joined Three Rivers in 2018, and enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking and staying fit.
